APEXI Midpipe install

APEXI Midpipe install
Ok, so I installed the Apexi mid pipe non res version. Sounds really good.Took about 3 hours but thats only because the freaking plastic and the freaking 30 or so clips, screws, bolts and whatever else that needed to be taken off took forever to reinstall. Video with car on ramps is after the install.. other video is prior to install so you can hear the differences if you considering a midpipe

A man of culture, I too have a set of wooden ramps I had built like 10 years ago and have held up great haha. Great for at-home garage work but still tight spaces when you’re trying to free bolts at the cats, wrestle with seized O2 sensors, and take off 100 plastic clips covering all the frame bracing. Tedious, but fun! Great work!

Sounds really good! How much louder would you say it is over stock? I'm considering doing this, but I don't think I would if it makes the car over 2x louder; if that was the case I might consider the resonated one instead; some more volume is good but don't want too much, lol, my car doubles as a family hauler. But I like the added rasp of the non-resonated midpipe from the videos I've listened to.

i wouldn't say it's double the stock oem. you can search videos on youtube and i believe that there's a user that did a decibel level recording. if i'm not mistaken there's only about a 2 decibel peak delta between the non res and resonated pipes, but the sound throughout the rpm band is different.
