Default Suspension

I bought an IS 500 and was wondering the best option for coilovers that current owners are using. I don't want to bag it.

Thank you

there aren't many companies supporting coilovers at this time. RSR seems to be the preferred set as they retain the use of AVS after install. RR Racing is another company that has a set for this car.

Thank you. I came from Kia Stinger that has so much available so it sucks not finding much for this car.

The Stinger hardly has a lot of options, especially compared with VW/Audi or BMW cars, but the IS 500 is a bit newer still. Lexus in general doesn't have the most aftermarket support right now because... let's face it, most owners wouldn't know what a coilover was if they got hit in the face with one.

I agree, RSR seems like the most popular/can't-go-wrong option.

LEMs have coilovers for IS500 as well, I think there will be more JDM parts coming since it's first year of the IS500 in Japan, TOM's will probably have coilovers for IS500 soon

We offer our Road and Track coilovers for the IS500. I must tell you, it's a dramatic difference in my opinion. I drove a customer's stock 2023 IS500 back to back with our 2023 IS350. Our IS350 has our coilovers with USRS lower control arm bushings. No more body roll and instability when turning the wheel. The response to the wheel was improved when turning from the LCA bushings. These IS500's are very underwhelming to drive in my opinion without suspension mods.

We sell these for $1699 and discount the LCA bushings at only $300. I can also offer a $100 off coupon code as well.

Do you lose the AVS with this setup?

Yes. You would leave the plugs to the side. I wouldn't call it a sacrifice at all.
