Maybe it's common knowledge in the forum that RC F exhaust components are swappable, but I wanted to hear the official line about an IS 500 exhaust. I reached out to Borla corporate to see if there was any release date or information about a cat-back exhaust specifically for the IS 500. Here is the reply:

I have added you to the announcement list for the IS 500 so we can let you know if a system is ever available. Interesting, there's already a borla prototype out there. Maybe they're talking about production and logistics.
I covered the person's name, but this was on IS500 fb group.
So I was impatiently waiting and emailed them and this is what they also had to say so yeah hopefully before the end of the month or beginning of march. Also I hope that they fix the welding on the exhaust cause the one that they shown is not it
