Default IS500 Strut Bar

Which strut bar make and model fit the IS500? Will it fit the original IS500 suspension?

Thanks!

I like RR Racing's strut brace. Different and works, in my experience.

It looks great! Did you drill a hole for the wiring to go through? I do not know how the wire can go back on otherwise.

Nope, comes with pre-drilled holes
Look closely at the pix. You will see the wires going through the hole with the stock rubber grommet.

I think you or one of the other owner with the original RR strut brace was the inspiration for RR to improve on their design . So thanks for that!

I have the TOM’S strut bar on mine.
personally I like it as it’s more subtle. Hence the name lol.

It doesn't lol. I only placed it there for picture purposes. I took the sticker off shortly after.

I definitely prefer the subtlety of the TOM'S brace, but I'm not a fan of how the left AVS wire bundle appears to have no slack. Did you adjust the line so it looks tought or is that as loose as it can be?

That’s the thing. The driver side is tighter/shorter than the passenger side. I’m not sure why. I didn’t want to pull on it and risking breaking something.

this is one of my friends IS500 and it seems to have the same thing as mine. I guess it’s due to how the Tom’s strut bar is angled/designed.
