I looked through my camera roll and I guess these are the best pics I’ve taken of my car. I’ll have to fix that.

I posted a new thread but figured I would join in here! New 2023 ultra white w/ red I got a few weeks ago. I had PPF on the bumper put on last week. Tint is coming next week (so cal here so that's a must). I have a few swirl marks from the dealer (I'm sure everyone has unless you custom order and tell them NOT to wash it) I'm thinking of getting a super fine paint correction polish before I wax, but we'll see, I may just wax for now as there just towel lines and you really need a close up super angle in the light to see them.

^^ Looks great!! I agree, I had the same issue from my dealer despite my attempt to remind them of how OCD I am - The beauty of a white vehicle is that these are much harder to see and only under some lighting condition

I bought mine in July of '23. Never mind another white one, I have not seen another IS 500 on the road between now and then. Every time I think I see what could be one, it turns out just another 350 .

On the other hand, I was just in for 5k service, come to get my car and see a bunch of techs and sales people all gathered around checking it out .

The reactions from Lexus team members are always the best. I have my IG name on the back window and the service tech assigned the car will send pics. Of course Blu is spotless when I go. 😎😜

I’m a terrible human, but I love it when several owners are waiting for their vehicles. Everyone has some level of snootiness, but mine makes them stop in their tracks. 😈💙❤️

^^ I love the 3rd one down - nice shot!! I like how you can see the design pattern of the BBS wheels in it - I find most pics of the cars with BBS wheels don't show the design pattern at all and all you see is black (like the 4th one down). I know in person its different but I find BBS wheels don't photograph as well as a lighter colored wheel (IMO)

When it comes to the BBSes, I'll say this: photo editing is hard.

I feel that it is tough to edit the photo in a way that brings out the best in the body work/paint color/etc. while also showing off the wheel design.

Gotta get those golden hour photos.

But yes I agree, in general black wheels are hard to photograph.

Yea, a few of those pics I just used the iphone editor to bring up the vibrance and high lights, there not really editied too much. I wish the sun was out more to see my red interior better (tint is only 50% all around) but I think the sun through the clouds hit the wheels just right to show that shimmer they have because I had just washed and waxed them which made them extra black.

It's hard to tell but do I see a black chrome delete on your mirrors as well? I'm actually debating changing mine to a red to match the circuit red interior. My only push back is the fact it would be the only exterior red trim.

Yep it is.

I'm probably a minority with this, I don't like the full black out no chrome look. I like the chrome on L logos (grill, trunk, and wheel) and chrome tips. Everything else, totally necessary to black out.
