This was a surprise for me. I didn't expect to get this in the mail today. Did anyone else receive an Apology Kit?

This is looking like a Lexus USA corporate thing, not a dealership thing, based on the letter's contents.

No apology kit for 2023 owners, they never said wireless for our cars.

I think it's kind of funny.

 

Where is the apology for the sagging bumper?

 

Now if only we would get an apology kit containing a kit with a tube of Gorilla Glue for our front apron separation.....

 

I just looked at my 2024 IS label and it does not say wireless for car play however my IS did come with the optional USB phone charging cable kit for an extra $85 which is what looks like they sent you.

 

I have an aftermarket wireless android auto adapter that works pretty well. I have to imagine Toyota/Lexus could design a better one that they could have given away for those affected 2024 owners and sold to others want wireless AA/CarPlay.

 

I wonder when they figured out the label was wrong or if someone tried to sue them for false advertisement or something.

Same. I use the Motorola one for Android. Works seamless and I believe I paid like $75. Also, thanks to the location of the port, its invisible since it lives in the center console.
