I think you need traction control off to get the best time.

Just loaded my stock 500 with the engine and transmission tune. Only drove about 20 mins but will say the shifts hold a lot longer and are faster and smoother. I haven’t done any mods yet but feel the increased power and torque and at lower rpm’s. Those unhappy with the transmission should check it out. I am very glad I did! Thanks Loi!

Going back to this question and hoping those who have received the tune can chime in.

Supposedly if you just mash the gas pedal and the car hooks you should get the best time. I don't think you need to brake torque or anything.
no manual? Sport +? I thought faster was mostly on manual

If you can nail the shifts, manual will be fastest. I'm not sure which mode is fastest. I'd think softer suspension would help weight transfer to the rear for traction. I'd probably try custom mode with sport power, but normal suspension.

(Very inexpensive when I bought the car)

Just out of curiosity do you mind me asking how much you paid for the warranty?. Nalley Lexus wouldnt sell me a proper Lexus warranty, only a 3rd party warranty.
Looking at adding it on at some point but will need to go to another lexus dealer.

my car had 2500 miles and was CPO at the time… the Lexus warranty was $3k and gave a total of 9yrs and unlimited miles at time of purchase to the CPO program. That als made it fully transferable to another owner otherwise their CPO is only good for the first buyer They told me it had the be done at purchase? That may or may not have been true…you know how it goes in the finance office.

Thank you. That was about the same as they offered me for a non Lexus warranty. I only realised it when it came to signing and made them remove it.
They then wouldnt quote for Lexus. I guess they have a deal where they get better rates or bonuses for not selling Lexus Warranties. Such is life.

yea it’s not my daily but price to value ratio was very favorable

so ya gonna keep the car forever anyway but gotta tune that transmission - love the car, not nostalgic about the shifting
