Didn’t Lexus say during their IS500 promotion that they’re planning to run the IS500 for 4 years?
2022 (launch edition), 2023 (molten pearl), 2024 (blue vector), 2025…
Historically, new IS500 model years are announced around Sept/Oct.

Only color I am particular about is interior which I want to be black. Exterior I would take white, black, silver, or gray. So I think that's about ~50% of them being made.

That would be great! Are there any changes between the 2023 and 2024 MY?

No one knows, it's all personal opinion at this point. I have a feeling it'll go into at least 2025 as Lexus is usually always late to push out their new refreshes. A lot of Japanese articles are stating 2025 for the new IS, but some also state they'll be full electric (which for next year I can't see at all).
I was in a similar situation but purchased my house before the LE's came out so I knew I had time and just bought a 2023 for an amazing deal going into 2024. I also preferred the color matching mirrors so it worked out (as someone mentioned the MY2024's have all black mirrors). Someone told me they look like mice ears, especially on lighter cars and I just can't unsee it.
