It's really hard to decide which wheel set to get. I really love the look of both on the cars.

Unfortunately there's really no wheel choice anymore. 99.99% of IS 500's are the BBS ones.

Trust me I wanted the Silver Enkei's so bad.



These are the wheels I wanted. I dragged my feet getting this car not realizing Lexus would essentially cancel these wheels after 1 model year.

Did they make two different versions of these wheels or is the angle of the picture? These look more graphite than silver.

Yes, there are two different colors. There are silver ones, which are only on the 2022 model year cars. Then, there are the dark-chrome (or dark-gray, as it often looks in photos) wheels, which are on model years 2023 and onwards.

My 21 350 was Cloudburst Grey. Loved that colour and agree looks amazing with the silver Enkeis. When I decided to trade in the 350 for 500 and fork out all that cash, I figured I might as well change colour as well (I guess a bit of a psychological thing to convince myself and everyone else I was getting a different car, as if the V6 to V8 change wasn't enough. LOL). I love the Infrared as I think it's appropriate for a muscle car like the 500, but wouldn't really chose this colour for anything else other than the LC500 , for example. It has to fit the vehicle type.
I think it would look weird on a RX, for example.

Like I've mentioned so many times, the styling of the IS is so attractive, it just looks great in every colour. Any IS (300, 350, 500) in any colour just really stands out in traffic flow. I saw a Caviar one today and it just set itself apart from all the other SUVs, cross-overs, trucks it was immersed in during heavy stop and go traffic. When I go to the dealership I marvel at the beauty of Atomic silver on an IS. And so on and so forth. It's a really good looking sports sedan. Full stop.

TGPCanada - I agree, while I loved the OS prior to the 2021 refresh, man this current generation is sexy AF! Its actually even giving me a run for my money....I have to get some skimpier shorts to show my body lines and sculped bulges
