Default Got a 2024 IS500 on the way

As stated in the title.. I have a new IS500 on the way, and I have been trolling this forum for a few weeks.

I'm a car guy and I have to do some mods .

So far, I have the following mods in my 'todo' list
1.) Dorman LCA's (looks like they are firmer than anything that Lexus sells but softer than polyurethane.. I think that would suit me perfectly with not wanting a harder ride.. and hopefully mitigating any inside tire wear)
2.) RR Racing AOS
3.) RR Racing heat shield
4.) Apexi resonated midpipe.. (on the fence on this one.. I want something that is somewhat quiet with a little low rumble when under 3kish rpm.. and don't mind it opening up some when pushing it.)
5.) ISF front brake calipers

I really don't want people to notice the car's exhaust.. and don't want a loud cold start.. so still not sure.. I have been listening to video's I can find with the resonated midpipe.. and it may be a little louder than I want...

I will definitely do the first 3 within a few months.. and the brakes later.... but still on the fence with the midpipe... For anyone that has heard the resonated apexi midpipe in person please share your opinion on loudness...

Thanks

School me on this Dorman LCA. Why replace the entire LCA versus just the LCA bushing?

I'm a huge advocate for the AOS, I would tell everyone that should be mod #1 for everyone.

Congrats, I will be watching this thread, as I'm considering some of those also.

I found this thread when I discovered the Infrared IS500 I was about to call about disappeared to presell I was looking in Indiana

Thanks,
Yeah, I'm ready to get my hands on it... First things I'm going to do is put the Dorman solid rubber LCA bushings on it and the AOS...
Then do the intake heat shield... probably leave it alone for a while after that.. let my wife cool down before buying more

Definitely going to upgrade the brakes.. hopefully something comes available from Lexus that will work with the rear parking brake...but definitely doing the fronts... such a shame they put an engine like this in a car without putting some stronger brakes on it.
