Anyone more familiar with plastidip? You could take off the door panel, mask it all off, and spray on a couple coats to your desired color. Then you peel it off when you don't want it anymore.
The only thing I'd worry about is the plastidip could flow around the back of the grille, making it extremely tedious to remove. You could try carefully pressing some waxpaper against the back (inside) of the grille pattern. This way the plastidip wouldn't bond to it, but it would prevent the dip from flowing around back of the grille.
I'd probably experiment with some cheap scrap speaker grilles first, but it would solve your problem and be reversible.

Interesting idea. I have used Plastidip spray in the past. It worked pretty well. I share the same concern about it filling the holds on the grills.

I'm nowhere near smart enough to do this, someone could 3d print a ring that fits around the smaller section of the grill? That ring could be painted to whatever the end user desired.
That could break up the tonal color of the door/speaker panel.
Sidenote, my OCD is going through roof. Haha.

These are the great ideas that I was hoping for. The ring could be just enough to break up all of that red. My adult son has a 3D printer and enjoys special projects. I'll run it past him to see how that could be done.

If it's got no highs and it's got no lows it's got to be Blows!

What about just placing a black speaker grill with ring over the door grill? Saw these on Amazon for $20.00. Just add the emblem to these and stick on as opposed to screwing on.

Haha.. good one about Bose!. I had NO idea how much hate Bose gets until I joined this forum! I guess my ears aren't as smart as others but I've had Bose systems in my home and GM autos and (to me) sound better than any other's I've heard. Including Harmen Kardon in MB and the ML in Lexus.

Sound systems in cars, no matter how good they are, are limited in vehicles if not properly installed acoustically. Speakers need to be insulated to be most effective and that is expensive. All the metal fabrication around speakers that are not properly dressed with sound deadening material causes sound problems unique to each car, much more each unique ear hearing them. Stop by any reputable and discerning car audio store and they will have examples of with and without sound deadening material. The listening experience and answer is then finite!
I agree with you Carlos, the BOSE systems do sound great. My beef with them came with technical support only being for the latest and greatest, not the latest and greatest they sold me a couple of years ago.
