In a previous video, he said his car was xDrive. I think it's been de-badged, if it indeed does have xDrive.

The main issue is the pitiful tires. 225 square setup on an almost-3900 pound car. What can I say to that but "lol"?

It's just baffling to me. In one breath, they say the M340i feels more "track ready", then in the very next breath they complain about understeer and oversteer. You can't have it both ways.

He complained more about the steering and the grip on the 340i and actually leaned towards the IS 500 except for the transmission. I get it you will give your car higher points because you own it. It's confirmation bias. But many of his words seemed to betray his I'd pick the Big Money Waster over the Lexus. Hey I love straight six turbo powered cars also, I just don't want to pay the BMW tax. Besides I use my turn signal, so I think I'm not allowed to purchase one anyway for that reason.

M340i better not all come w/ 225 tires square, I think he cheap out on some options cuz if M340i all comes with that narrow of tires, it's like looking at 2nd gen IS250 w/ 17" wheels lol funny af.

https://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/3-se...specifications

The 225 squared setup is the standard tire. There appears to be an optional 225/255 combo f/r at least according to the pictures even though in my quick look I got nothing that said that. But yeah RWD or AWD comes standard with 225 width tires!

That is still kinda crazy to me. My 3,000-pound Mk7 GTI had 225-width tires. The M340i xDrive weighs over 800 pounds more.

LOL. My 2,900 lb Golf has 225 tires all around. I love it. It's great for such a small car handles great and especially fun with manual.

I watched all the reviews videos on YouTube at least twice. Multiple reviewers have reviewed the car twice and am getting from them all and it's not an M3 competitor, it's more an M340i, which is perfect since without all the F stuff if it was a real ISF replacement, you can do a nice OEM+ build between suspension, tires, oil and transmission coolers, ISF front calipers, exhaust and a Loi tune.

I am getting mine finally in June and plan to keep it forever.

I bet when Toyota/Lexus management decided to trademark "IS500" they were thinking of the 500E/E500 W124s.

I am looking around to see what is available and would consider shipping. I am open to all colours except for Caviar. "Boring" colours would need to have a red or white interior.

Staying on topic, I just went to BMW.ca and just learned the M340i is xDrive.....

Not gonna lie, because of the ISs body lines all of the colors look good on it. Sometimes I catch myself admiring the iridium even though I still think Infrared is #1

Iridium on White would up there in my top five, but unfortunately we don't get that combo up here. Red is nice though.
