Default What are your unique mods/customizations you've done to your car?

I'm looking to steal some creative mods off you guys. What do you think makes your car unique? Could be one off custom pieces or common modifications. No wrong or right answer's.

This is a no judgement zone. Let's see what you got.

Mines the same finger puppet that ive hung somewhere in my car since 2006.

I like the little touches that other people often don't notice but make the car "mine". Beyond basic things like LED replacement lights, magnetic phone mount/wireless charger, RC 350 center console tray, etc., I have the Lexus "F" key fob bodies, battery negative terminal cover from the RC 350 and some door hinge bolt covers I found on eBay (pic attached). I also have the Titanium Works oil cap (mine says "IS 500" on top and "5W30" rather than "2UR GSE" on the bottom) and am working with Titanium Works right now on a custom battery tie-down. I'll probably post a pic of my engine compartment once the tie-down is made and installed. Still waiting for RR Racing to find a new fabricator for their strut/chassis brace so I can get one of those. But as far as "unique" goes, I think the closest would be the Titanium Works stuff, the door hinge bolt covers, and maybe the AutoTechnic shifter paddle replacements (they're really nice, but worth *maybe* half the cost, imo).

The close-ups show how well they fit, but they look best when seen in person - if they're even noticed - they blend in perfectly.

I love a mod that looks OEM but isn't. That's the stuff I geek over. That being said, those door hinge covers are super cool. Got a link?

You and I share the same enthusiasm in that respect. The negative battery terminal cover, "F" key fob bodies, and titanium oil cap were things I discovered here, so I'm looking forward to seeing what others post over time. Oh, and I forgot to mention the TRD door stabilizers, which look OEM on this car - that's another one I found out about here.

I can't remember why I settled on this particular seller (usually at least one review that ensures I'm getting the right thing and a high percentage rating), but there are others selling essentially the same thing if you want to find it for less - I paid $14.00 when I bought them, so it appears the seller has raised the price, and it looks like his/her percentage may have gone down a bit, too.

Doubt you will want this one but I cut up a cloth grocery bag and stuck them on both rear doors. It protects the injection molded plastic from dog scratches. It's held in place with velcro stickers. You can see the scratches on it and how much it's already protected my door. Every 6 months or so I peel back the velcro to make sure it's not ruining or discoloring the plastic.

That's a really great idea, and my cousin has dogs, so I'm sure she'll appreciate this for her car.

Smart move. I have the Lexus mechanic seat cover that the dealerships use to protect the seats themselves for the same reason

I guess this may be a "Unique" mod for the IS as it's Titanium Tips from the RCF Fuji/Track model.

I'm thinking about picking a set of these up - need to look under my seat and see if this is really what's going on... https://www.etsy.com/listing/9011029...c-duct-convert

Yeah, those are neat. I got them under the seats. You do feel the coolness a bit more.

I have the oil cap from Titanium Works, too - currently working with them on a battery tie down but have been stalled due to some other things going on atm. I'm liking that custom dash badge! I'm curious, did you need to align your oil cap for the picture or does it align perfectly when tight? Mine, sadly, isn't well aligned when tight.

Oh, I missed your first reply and went straight to the second with the Titanium Works stuff. Thanks for the reply - I'll go ahead and order them, then
