Default Grecian Water owners … be honest

Have any of you grown tired of the color after owning it? I’m a “blue guy” through and through but my vehicles have always been darker colors. I worry that GW would lose its appeal, any experiences like that?

For context, likely selling my LE for an RX in GW (hey I got four growing kids and places to take ‘em.)

IMO and as a fellow "blue guy", I think GW on a vehicle as big as an RX would get tiring. It's not a color I would personally choose on that platform, but it was my second choice on a IS 500, the one I test drove, and would never get tired of it on an IS. A big ol RX? Not so sure I could stand it.

I still love mine, people here loves to buy white, silver, grey, and black cars lol so something other than those color is a plus. I don't suggest buying GW on other Lexus though, I found it only looks good on the IS500. I've seen UX, RX and NX with GW, just don't look right even with lower grade IS still doesn't look right. I guess is the dark chrome and gloss black trims makes it just right on the IS500. I would get USB or Infrared or Nori Green or Copper Crest.

Agreed, which is maybe the main reason I feel
like it works on this Black Line edition.

I'd never get tired of those wheels...

^^ I agree, I am not sure why these are so rare in the US and while most come with the BBS wheels (other than to charge more of course).

I'll only buy one if it comes with the Enkeis. I hate the BBS wheels.

^^ I hear you; wheels can make or break a vehicle for me too! I had the original Enkeis on mine but while I like the wheel pattern, since mine was white, I preferred the darker gun metal look finish from the 350 wheels (the Canadian finish is different than the US) and that is why I switched over, again, just because the wheels are so important for me. Of course, if the 2022 came with the darker Enkeis, I would have not ordered the new one

I will say the BBS look better with lighter colors. Also looks good with Grecian Water - full circle!

Lol thx for bringing it back around! Here are my choices. The caviar is Handling and has ML which I tend to enjoy in my 500

That grill is ****ing massive. I thought the IS versions was large enough but damn that looks massive in the picture. I feel like the black would maybe hide it more than the blue. In the blue picture I just see grill and nothing else as a focus point.

Well to be fair you have to keep in context the lack of availability of Grecian Water for the 500. The low production is ridiculous compared to the others. I wanted Grecian Water as my first choice and aggressively looked for it. Could not find one. I am certain they would have sold more GW's had they made more. I was torn between USB and Atomic Silver as backups. Only one GW ever became available anywhere near me and it was 500 miles away and 9 months later. Needed a car and could not wait for something that might not never become available. As we all know USB has low production numbers as well. I hope they bring GW back for 25' or 26'. I would like to see Copper Crest, Flare Yellow, or Nori Green make a cameo as well on the 500 before the model ends. Regardless, grown to close to my Atomic and Circuit Red and the lower balance on the note to move off of it.

Admittedly, I just purchased my GW RX about 2 months ago, so I haven’t had it long, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of it! It’s such a head turning and gorgeous color!

Looks great! GW is beautiful color.

I never understood why GW was such a polarizing color in the IS 500 community. What was weird is how few Lexus made. It's a freakishly rare color on the 500.

Yeah, they made very few of them for the RX too. Only 1000 in the blackline FSport version for 2021 and while I can’t find production numbers for 2022, I would bet it’s not much more.
