Does the IS500 require anything specific for dyno testing?

Hello, been lurking for awhile but wanted to post a quick question. Do any of the current gen IS, including the 500, have any issues with dyno testing? I know some current vehicles require special 'hidden' dyno modes to operate properly while on a dyno, or just in general will throw codes/go into limp mode. Just wanted to see if anyone has any insight on if the 500 acts up at all when on one. I'm planning to dyno mine for fun next week and wanted to research in advance. Thanks!

I haven't heard of any other than the speed limiter. I think 6th gear is the proper 1:1 ratio for dyno tuning, but the car hits the speed limiter and you can't make a full pull.

Let us know your results. Curious to see if it makes north of 400 horses at the wheels.

Actually decided against doing the dyno test at the moment. Didn't seem like it would be worth the hassle lol. Might revisit the idea later on though. Mod can delete/archive this post if they'd like.

If you plan on modding, I think it's a great idea to get a baseline dyno so you can see if the mods actually improved whp. Just make sure you stick to the same dyno so the numbers are consistent.
I believe the F guys dyno in 4th.
