Ok maybe and hopefully a dumb question
On order / reserved 24 Incognito 500 Perf Premium , black interior with Satin trim
I have the build spec sheet and it list
Bamboo trim along with the memory stuff
Called my guy , he doesn't know why the Bamboo
is shown , sure as hell don't want it , so my question, has anybody seen , heard of a Bamboo trim / option ? Absolutely not listed and I can't find any info
Update Dealer advised me that mine and 3 other cars allotted to them say the same , even checked the GM's car and said the same with no bamboo to be found in his car kinda strange

The "bamboo" trim has been a bit of a mystery for me. My car was also listed as having that option, but it does not have any wood trim whatsoever.

Yeah that trim option has been around since the beginning, but it’s not available.

It's been listed on some spec sheets since 2022. The few spec sheets I've seen locally this year showed Bamboo, including mine, which turned out as Satin like others after delivery. Some folks at the Dealer just thought the "Bambo wood trim" was code for "Satin"

That makes sense. The satin-aluminum style trim was introduced in 2023, as the 2022 IS 500s had the same trim as the other F Sport models. Maybe something was lost in translation?

I was one of the '23's with the "Bamboo Trim" that looks exactly like what is pictured here. It seemed like every car I saw listed "bamboo" that wasn't.

I just didn't want a weird surprise when I pick up in a couple weeks

My 2024 had Bamboo trim on the sell sheet too. Obviously, that was a lie. Someone in the Toyota/Lexus system hasn't corrected it.

I think you can pretty much rest assured there will be no wood trim on yours.

I just looked at my 2024 sheet and it says satin. I'm not special enough to get the bamboo

Spec sheet list both
Satin trim but under dlr add ons, and where it list BBS wheels I added ,options it says Bamboo trim with seat , steering, seat memory
Just find it weird they haven't corrected it

The part is actually bamboo and painted silver. That's why it lists both.
