Hi,

I am new and just registered. Currently have a $1000 deposit on a IS500 Premium edition in either Cloudburst or Ultra White in VA. I really much prefer the BBS wheels and wish they were standard..... Looking forward to my first Lexus.

Currently own:
1984 Toyota Sprinter Trueno
2011 Highlander AWD Limited

I fit in the IS at 6'2. Backseat is more like a back bed to lay on though lol no leg room behind me.

That makes more sense as my resources confirmed no 2022 IS’ have shown up in this build region.. anywhere on the grid

I think we're all bored and there's nothing left to talk about. Dealers know nothing. We know nothing. Wheel colors, trans cooler color, mark ups, deposits, no deposits. It's the same conversations over and over again.

I could chime in with my very slight disappointment that Lexus didn't do more to the 500 to separate it from the 350 F Sport. For example, it has a different diffuser from the 350 (having more "fins"), but it's almost unnoticeable. I didn't notice till I saw it in person.

That's part of the reason I am not willing to jump on the hype train for the 500. It seems like a great idea, but it would feel like I am jumping into my 350 for the most part... until I turn on the engine obviously. Just saying, it could have been more special. Maybe they're intentionally leaving something on the table?

That is the appeal to me, the 2021 IS350 is a great looking sedan and having the V8 under the bonnet makes it the perfect car for me. I dont like the latest version of the RC F with it's big wing and carbon bits and such. Sometime, when something tries too hard, it becomes overdone...simple, elegant and powerful, priced right and I am loving it, minus the trans cooler lol

Hopefully, dealers get their allocations tomorrow as Carolina50's salesman said and we get a little more info. Let the allocation gods shine on all our dealers and we get some solid allocation numbers

Fingers are definitely crossed!!
Also heard that the embargo ends tomorrow on the 2022 NX and I am wondering if they are timing the information based on that too.

Yes, fingers crossed, maybe even they will actually update the builder for the 2022 model year IS.

I take your point; but honestly, the same could be said about the original ISF. Except for the hood and faux quad exhaust, it looked just like the standard version. In some angles (when it first came out) I couldn’t always see the fender flares. 😜

One of the main reasons I really want this car (besides the awesome V8 and quad tail pipes) is that this car is super stealth. Normal people will just think it's a regular Lexus until they hear the ROAR
