The V8 is back: IS 500 F SPORT Performance

Keyword needing to roll the fenders. I don't believe that's the interion.
So my guess would be that the inner part of the fender/wheel well would be exactly the same as any other 2021+ 3IS. There are some differences in the sheetmetal on the 500 in order to accommodate the V8 and the necessary cooling up front, but I don't think those differences have any impact on the fenders, at least where wheels are concerned.

As far as IS500. I asked my sales person and he says they are in the dark (in the US) but he has a training all of next week and he expects to have info after that

Random thought: I was looking at the Launch Edition and thinking it would probably feel special (to me) and maybe generally more desirable if it was available in 3 rare but original Lexus colors as opposed to only being in Nardo G... Incognito. Kinda like how Toyota treated the A90 Supra's LE, and made it available with 3 colors. I was thinking the LE would still get the black BBS wheels, but in this case they could've used; Molten Pearl, Flare Yellow and the LFA's Absolutely Red... all of which are original, bright Lexus colors that aren't available on the new IS. I think that might've been slightly more interesting and special than having 500 units of polished concrete gray. *shrug Too late at this point but it was just a thought.
Edit: I'd have given the LE's color matched calipers as an option too. I.E: Red on red, orange on orange, yellow on yellow.

Used 2021 Ultra White 350dhp I went and drove today. Dealer wanted 65k for it LMAO. Had been having some thoughts of if the V8 is necessary coming from a RS400. The 3.5 just didn't tick the boxes performance-wise personally but the car with a v8 would easily. Definitely cemented wanting ultra white for my 500. They had this used one and the manager's car sitting in the back lot where they had an IS-F I looked at as well, both DHP cars carbon spoilers were bending up from the body on either one or both sides like was stated earlier in the thread making me wary on adding it on. Took some pics to better show the flake at different distances

I like the white too and it's crazy how they are now selling for more used than when they were new. I got my IS350 new back in January for alittle above $39,000 and now they are selling used for about $10,000 more. Been thinking of selling it but the problem.is that any replacement is marked up too.

Imagine if this is the new norm, prices on cars normally increase in value. People will start hoarding cars instead of real estate since it’s a cheaper market to penetrate. Cars are also a lot more fun to have compared to houses. Instead of people saying “look that idiot spent money on a KIA suv” they’ll say “dang I should’ve bought that KIA suv when I had the chance for only $20,000.” Anyone with a job could get a car, but in about 80 years car ownership will eventually go to the middle class and higher only. You won’t be able to work at McDonald’s for $40/hr and own a car. Everyone else will have to rent or Uber haha. Every city will be as polluted as Los Angeles.

^^To be honest, anyone buying a vehicle with a 10k+ markup is making a mistake but I understand that some won't have any choice (car dies, totaled in an accident etc) but I would not upgrade for the sake of upgrading and paying that huge markup just because I want (versus need) a new car. That being said, that is just my opinion and there are plenty of people with lots of disposable income and for which spending it is not an issue.

I know I have to probably be the only person here who wants this, but I'm hoping mine isn't delivered until April/May next year.
I hope, obviously, that those of you who are pining get it ASAP but I don't mind waiting a bit because I want to have a fatty down payment. So I plan on hunkering down and just saving a ton of money until mine is delivered, plus I want to do about $5k worth of PPF and ceramic coating immediately after taking delivery.
