Wow, I am glad I did not sign on last night to see all this bad news regarding availability. That would have messed up my sleep. Now, it will mess up just my afternoon lol. I feel everyone here who's talking about their patience wearing thin. Mine is also. I am not a fan boy of any brand/model, so I have been keeping my options open.
Given I am willing to spend USD $60k - $65k on a new car, my strong alternative is the M340 or M440GC. I don't mind that grill on the M440. The car to me is jolie-laide (our Canadian buddies should get that. It is a French expression which translates to beautiful-ugly). I'll probably give myself until the end of this month to decide whether to stick with camp NA-V8 (which is my strong preference at the moment), or go to one of the boosted-V6 camps. Sadly, regardless of where I go, there likely will be availability issues.

MT gave it a wishy washy review. I find it outrageous that they're *****ing about 17/25/20 as really bad gas mileage, that's almost comical.

This will be my first Lexus and coming from a Twin Turbo 6 with 400hp, my hopes were to stay around that hp or better. Never had a NA 8 and this caught my eye and attention. Have also considered the BMW M340 and Mercedes C43. So far Lexus is winning with the reliability and slowly taking a toll on my last good nerve.
