^^ yeah, things might be a bit different here in Canada, my rep also told me my order was put thru and he would talk with the regional director to try to make sure I'll be able to get it.
Were as in the states, you guys don't seem to be able to even get those orders thru.

I live in the PNW and I am first in line for the IS 500 Launch Edition. I was told a few things yesterday....for starters my dealership is only guaranteed 1 LE....they could get another later but only 1 is confirmed....cities like LA may see 5 to 10 at a dealership as "we sell 100 cars, they sell 800 cars"......Mid December arrival for the LE has not been ruled out, it is more than likely that my LE has been built, my car will cost the same price as was disclosed ($67,400 plus delivery)....they have enough orders for the IS 500 to last 2-3 years, Lexus collectors from all across the country are calling, the wait list is extensive......all Lexus factories will be fully operational by mid December but obviously there is an enormous back log of other vehicles so the roll out will be very slow. I think if you are early in line there could be light at the end of the tunnel by February.....if you are not in line, or not at the beginning of the line I would not expect you will be able to buy any IS 500 until late spring/early summer.....
I have never seen a lot so empty, maybe 3 sedans total, no IS 350s, no LCs, no UX....only SUV options and only 2 vehicles in the show room.....
It was pretty cool to talk about the LE, it is obviously fully loaded so there is nothing to add on to the car except for all weather floor mats, 3M Protection and the cargo net....that's about it.

My gut feeling is that regular IS and RC axlebacks will fit as they are interchangeable, but midpipe will mostly be another story.
I'll probably be able to keep my current Takeda axleback if I'm able to have a 500.

And even if they were the same you wouldn’t want smaller designed V6 piping or muffler on a V8 exhaust system..

Luckily a full bolt on CAT BACK exhaust for the V8 IS 500 will sound exactly like any other of the thousands of IS F / RC F and GS F’s we have modified today…

My GOD that red IS500 looks amazing, the more I watch that video, the more I start questioning my decision to go white....My wife says to stick with white!! She says you have never seen one and once it arrives, you will not regret it.
I don't want to sound annoying but I am so happy and relieved I put my name on the waiting list as a sold unit back in February - I know I may have to wait a while to get it confirmed but given I am the 1st in line, and that my dealer is the biggest dealer in my district, I know it is impossible for Lexus Canada to not at least tag a non-LE to the dealer so I should be able to get my hand on one - While it may take a while, it will be worth the wait. To be honest, once I know my order has been placed and accepted, then I'll be breathing a sigh of relief
