I agree - the wheels are hideous but even the body kit is a bit too over the top for me - I find that Lexus really nailed the refresh for the 2021+ and requires little enhancements!!
One thing I wish Lexus would have done with the 2021+ would have been to incorporate the brake light into the upper part of the rear window like my 2019 RC - that very slim brake light was so elegant IMO

Maybe TipsyTonio can research and find out if that is what is also taking so long. The ones working on the cooler paint may be working on the relocated brake light.
Another update, Toyota has now updated TIS to have 2022 models. Interestingly enough, there seems to be no maintenance manual for the IS500 as of yet, or ever for that matter. That explains why I couldn't find it last month.
The service manual is up on the Canadian site, which is driven by the US TIS site.
For the most part it's just piggybacked on the 2014-2021 IS service manual and electrical wiring diagrams. The New Car Features for 2021 have been updated with the 2022 information, including the IS500.
Edit: The New Car Features manual is new for 2022 for the IS500.

Aha! So you do have TIS. Theoretically, if I sign up for the 2 day subscription, is it possible to save everything as a PDF? I'd like to have everything saved for my 22 IS350.
Unrelated to the quote, JM Lexus in South Florida just called me that they are starting to see 2022 IS allocations and they wanted to place my order. Only two months late since another dealer already did it on 9/17 and it's being built on Thursday, but still; maybe sales people will start calling yall?

No I don't...I don't know what you're talking about!
I don't see why you couldn't...that's gonna be a lot of PDF's...like my god!
Keeping them arranged and organized will be key. Don't forget the wiring diagrams are seperate.

Maybe you don't know since you don't have TIS
But, how is TIS organized? I'm sure there are a buttload of PDFs
TIS is broken down into 10 categories for each vehicle (see pic below).
Each category can have sub categories anywhere between 2 to 20 (Brakes is likely 2 while Automatic Transmission will be closer to 20).
Under each of those sub categories there will be another layer of sub-categories anywhere between 2 and 20.
Without checking each tab it would appear it's a 3 layer folder system, with the pic below representing the first layer.
Expect the wiring diagrams to be a little less than half the amount of data of the repair manual.

Jesus. It seems like going to have to work 24/7 those two days lmao. I'm assuming theres no option to bulk download huh?
Well… If you do it, then organize and combine them as a single PDF, and post it in a sticky at the top of this forum, you’ll have the eternal gratitude of your fellow forum members!

That sounds like quite the way to get sued by Toyota....
