Thinking over these last few posts I think I would actually prefer to just have the premium. If you're going to spend $60k any way, what's a few extra thousand dollars, just so you have everything and can call it a day. One of the big things that would bug me about the base model is the size of the infotainment screen. I just don't like the non-full screen. It'd be a front and center every day reminder to myself and my passengers that I cheaped out.

More than likely what I will end up with as well. I'm in it this far, might as well get what I want and deal with things I don't want than not have any of it.

The issue with the premium is actually the ML sound system. I'm an audio nut and my audio guys say that the ML system would really screw with our ability to do some cool stuff. Not hard to just add a sub on, but anything beyond that gets a little difficult.

that is exactly how I see it!! I mean a few thousands for a car some will keep for a long time will mean nothing as far as extra monthly payments, and you will get it back when you sell it anyway...

I may never use the sunshade, but I want it all. My ‘06 had the full luxury package (including the headlight washers), but my ‘16 is missing NAV and the upgraded audio, because I didn’t think it mattered.

I'd have to have the rear sunshade just for the randomness factor. Yeah, here's a premium sport sedan with 472 horsepower... with a power sunshade in the back. All it needs now is a champagne fridge.

I am not sure if it is because I am on my phone, but what comes with the Canadian Premium Package? Is it basically optioned like a 2022 IS350 F Sport series 3 with the Triple Beams, ML, sunroof and panoramic camera?

The Premium vs LE PDF doesn't say much.

I just showed the IS500 builder to my dealer and asked if I needed to build one and send it to them. They said there’s no point, they already have me covered. To me this means if you’re not already on a list somewhere your chance to get this car in 2022 is slim. The builder seems like just a formality although it’s so awesome to finally see. I’ll probably build every combination just for fun.

they also said they hope to find out about allocations on Friday.
