The V8 is back: IS 500 F SPORT Performance
#2761
I just showed the IS500 builder to my dealer and asked if I needed to build one and send it to them. They said there’s no point, they already have me covered. To me this means if you’re not already on a list somewhere your chance to get this car in 2022 is slim. The builder seems like just a formality although it’s so awesome to finally see. I’ll probably build every combination just for fun.
they also said they hope to find out about allocations on Friday.

For those who are not in dealership's waiting list queue, don't feel sad. Not everyone in the queue will buy at the end, and there is quite possible that some people put their names in multiple queues as well. So everyone who really want to buy the car will get their allocation at the end.
10 years ago when BMW was releasing the 1M, they purposefully limited the production, and there were tons of people lining up in the "list". But it turned out some dealerships had a handful of left overs months after the car went on sale.
The same applies to the Durango Hellcat - initially they said any single unit has been spoken for. But look at what happens now: there are tons of unsold inventories in the market, you can easily buy one for whatever option combination you want.

@Shoeboy4 The USB is going to kill it. My ‘16 is already one of the prettiest cars in my parking garage amongst a sea of Germans. Add the Enkeis with the quad exhaust and my neighbors will die. 😈

It's extremely unfortunate that this particular car - my first new car purchase - happens to land during this unprecedented era.

We get what Lexus Canada decided on how to package this car. We dont get the sunroof, even on the LE. We get the triple LED headlights, the ML system, the 360 parking view, memory seats and such but that is about it. I am 99 percent sure we dont get the power rear shade. I think we do get the power adjusting steering column...and a 500ml container of maple syrup ..kidding on the last

Congrats!!! I know how the excitement feels. According to what the regional rep told the inventory manager, my 350 is being built right now. So I’m dying to get word from them that it was built and what the vin number is so I can make sure they put every option on it. A January delivery seems very likely, especially for an LE
