To be honest, the wheels is what I am the most lukewarm about - The problem with the black wheels is from videos I have seen, given all the open area with the rims, all you see is the rotors and it sort of sticks out but maybe its bad video quality or from the angle I have seen it.

LMAO - Well, there is still that possibility if my dealer can find a way to get their hand on one - I will make sure that if that happens, I will make sure to tell him about our conversation

I agree - I think Lexus made sure the LE has the black tranny cooler for the press car. It's either that all the IS500 will have the black coolers when the production starts or none of them will. I doubt that they'll be black on the LE but silver on the F Sort Performance. We will know soon as the cars start arriving at the dealers in about 1 month or so

I know dealers got cars allocated to them today, my dealership got 1 LE and 1 premium, it was sent from corporate but is not in the computer as of tonight and their estimation for their arrival is at the earliest is late December or the beginning of January most likely mid-January. The combo I wanted was actually allocated to them so I am quite the happy camper tonight!

The wheels are just a good excuse to get aftermarket wheels.

^^ I am old school (or just plain old) but always prefer OEM wheels - that is why I find with the IS500, we are sort of shafted with either Enkei wheels or BBS wheels - I just LOVE my wheels on my 2021 IS - The finish/color is just PERFECT with the Ultra White!!

Interesting tidbits for you guys in the US - It appears that our version of the LE in Canada will also not have the silver ash accents which, I am not necessarily upset about.

I get that. With the variety of aftermarket wheels out there, if you do go that route, you can fit any style you want.

Just got the call......yes!!!!! 1 LE has been allocated to my dealership.....it will show up in the system on Monday, at that time it will be confirmed/ordered, I assume they will have a vin at that time (maybe not) but they called to congratulate me and thank me for my patience.....they will be back to me Monday with more specifics.....the car will be in route or could be already, time frame still unknown but it could be a few weeks to the end of December, maybe January but its happening.

First new car since my Ford Escort when I was 19 (29 years ago)....my 3rd Lexus, had 2 GS 350s that I loved, I just could not be more excited for this car......heading out to re-do garage with lots of space for the car, new flooring etc......car is at the MSRP as previously disclosed, what a great day.....Good luck to everyone on getting what you are looking for, these are going to be awesome cars.

Which silver ash portion are you referring?

Oh the same one as in the DHP. The silver part is what stumped me. Personally, I wouldn’t call it silver but to each their own

^^ Yeah, I hear ya,odd name. It is still surprising that the LE will be different in the US and in Canada - You guys get the sunroof and silver ash, we get nothing like that. That being said, given how inaccurate the website has been, until the car arrives, who knows what it will have for equipment...

^^ yeah, i'd be surprised LE's be different between US and Canada, probably once again misinformation. Technically, a numbered edition like that should all be the same.

I agree, to me it doesn't make sense to make a LE that would be different but then again, in today's crazy car world, nothing would surprise me...

Yes I would be surprised as well for the CAD version of the LE.. Does the CAD website omit these distinctions???

Agreed its just a carry over from the IS 350 F SPORT only with DHP.. again same as wheels carried over
