for what it's worth (and it aint much) I was told by the dealer on Saturday that the East Coast usually receives vehicles first, which I thought was odd........I'm in Portland on the West Coast BUT BC getting the car Dec 10th might be a good sign....today they are supposed to have more info on actual arrival...
To my understanding SoCal ports would receive them the quickest from Japan car carrier vessels.
Unless something major has changed over the years.

Spoke to the 2nd dealer this morning. Reconciled my card and didn’t see the charge for my deposit. Apparently my color preference is termed the ‘super man spec’ and because it’s rare, they have to get confirmation from Lexus before charging the card. That was Nov 5th, one would think he would’ve called.
He said the allotments will be released today and tomorrow, so we’ll see what he says on Wednesday.
The first sales rep (with my April deposit) knows absolutely nothing.
The second seems to be dialed in, but I have to chase his a** for new info.
I know in the end the car will be worth it, but Jesus this process is truly working my nerves.

At least you are not trying to get Casper the ghost (white on white) - LMAO That being said, after a winter in Canada, seeing me on the beach on the 1st day, I look pretty much like Casper too in my white bathing suit and white legs (lmao)

Got a call from the insurance company cause I generated a quote over the weekend. Turns out the IS500 insurance premium is the same cost as the IS300/350 because it's an IS sedan. Engine does not matter. Hahahahaha YESSSS let's do this.
