Thanks buddy - I don't think I have much chance of seeing a white one but I am keeping my fingers crossed - I just hope me and ANSWER won't have to arm wrestle on who is going to get it, at 115lbs, I am sure he'll win (LMAO)

I am not sure the system would show them as pre-sold but it could also be what my initial thought was that they may build a few of these to get the buzz going, pepper them across the country to each dealer and not be "client ordered" per say - Then a dealer can call their client who have a certain preference color preference and say, I have one coming in the color you want. Who knows but things are finally moving again which is such a relief!! This almost feels as good as an Ex-Lax moment after being plugged for a few days.....

Congrats - While I am not jealous of you, I certain am ENVIOUS of you - What I would give to get a call from my dealer saying the car I specifically want is on its way. While I am leaning more and more toward the LE (at the moment), the white on white is still in the back of mind.

Haha, my sales person is a man, but he's useless. Luckily I seem to have the very best inventory manager in the whole world. She just sent me an email with the vin of my car and showing that it is built and in transit. Now this is where it gets nerve wracking. For those of you with previous Lexus vehicles and the lexus app, theorectically, once the car gets in AT&T cell coverage on 12/20 when it is expected at the Jacksonville port, could I not input the vin and track it via the app? Or perhaps they disable that feature prior to PDI.

Since we know some allocations are available internally at Lexus, today is the true test of my dealership(s) loyalty to me. Not gonna lie, I'll be peeved if they don't contact me today.

I can tell you with 100% certainty, even though Dealer Daily doesn't show allocations for the Eastern or Southern region, your sales person could contact the regional rep and they can see EVERYTHING. If it hasn't been built they can even give you a build date

macmaster - don't despair if you don't get on the 1st wave of allocations. I suspect they'll be more and more of these built in the near future and allocated accordingly. I am still waiting to see what my dealer can find for a white one for me...I have been on their wait list since February when the car was officially announced. It is stressful and the not-knowing is the worse for me. I know my dealer will eventually get an F Sport Performance allocated to them, will be it be how I want it or something that just get's assigned to them (color I may not want). That is the only question I want to know - I am not in a rush to get it, I just want the reassurance that the one that will get will be based on the color combo I want as it's a sold vehicle

My Salesperson in Portland is awesome. Looks like I should see my LE 12/16-12/20 as it arrives in the Port of Portland on 12/01 - I got the build sheet, mine is coming with nothing added (which in a way is good as I didn't want the all weather floor mats).....price is $67,400 plus $1075 delivery for $68,475 - I have my VIN number BUT I don't know what its 1 of 500 number is....if anyone knows if that is somehow coded in the VIN let me know!

Generally, manufacturers will sequence them with the last 5 digits of the vin, but i noticed last night in the video that it doesn't appear to apply to the LEs for some reason.

I Have my build sheet as well. it was built on 11/6 put on a vessel on 11/12 and is set to arrive at port estimated 11/27. This is super quick and I am juiced it is finally here

I don't care if I'm not on the 1st wave at all. It's the communication, or lack thereof, from the dealer(s) that bothers me. I'd have no issue with them saying "we checked our system and allocations are here! but unfortunately we don't see a build coming our way that fits your preference." That would be totally cool!
