assuming this will be RWD only? I can't recall the V8 ever being offered with AWD. regarding pricing will probably be in line with the RCF

Really excited about this! Definitely going to trade in my 200t when these release. Was about to jump ship to the germans, but this news is more than enough to keep me in the brand. Looking forward to my 4th Lexus!

I’m sure traction is a limiting factor. The original Lexus ISF was rated at around 4.4 seconds 0-60 and after 60mph walks a 350.
A car with 110+ mph trap speed vs the 100mph trap of a 350 is night and day. Completely different galaxy of performance.

looks to be 356mm front rotor with advics 4 pot caliper. same as the f-sport brakes from RC350 f-sport.

If it starts at $54,000 it will sell like hot cakes since there aren't that many options unlike Porsche you can add $10k quickly.

new IS starts at 39k. so 54k starting sounds about right. They're just dropping the RCF engine into the car, swapped out the front brakes, hood hump and rear RCF quads. It's parts they all had since 2015.

I'm impressed they kept the weight down with a huge V8. This may actually weight less than an RC350!

They better price it good. Compare to F upgrades we are missing interior upgrades i.e seats, alcantara etc , brakes, tech bits ( i.e launch controls? some journalist say 0-6 in 4.5 seconds..... that's not very impressive) and some exterior bits. If this is going to cost close to a RCF this car wont sell very well or maybe they just have a surplus of f motors they need to get rid of before moving towards smaller motors.

I still think you're looking at 60k....which means here in Canada it'll be 70k+.

To those saying it’s not a full on F car, how?
whats it missing? Besides the name being different?
its going to have a

Almost Same 8 speed as last ISF (dif tranny code)
470+ HP V8
Adaptive variable suspension
Torsen limited slip diff
visual mods

what it missing from full on F car?
