The Lexus dealer in Beverly Hills got $50k over MSRP for a new one….and $30k over MSRP for a used one with 10 miles (manager’s wife didn’t like it when he brought it home as a surprise for her) when released last year.
The dealers who sold for MSRP saw what the other dealers did and don’t want to miss out now.

Is there a google spreadsheet on California Lexus dealerships with or without markups or their specific add ons? If anyone has anything to contribute, I would love to get one started for future reference.
Also, I’m torn between USB, Iridium, and Cloudburst Grey

^^ their are no bad colors IMO for the IS, but just keep in mind that if you haven't put your name on a list yet, it may be a bit challenging to get one as the production is somewhat limited and people are on waiting lists for them. That being said, if I were to rank with my order of preference, and the margin is razor thin, it would be USB, Iridium and Cloudburst grey...

^^ To be honest, I am not sure. Conversations with various dealers indicate how scarce these cars will be and even on the Canadian Lexus website, it says limited availability (not just the LE) - We are all hoping that production and availability will ramp up but my dealer is not even sure they'll be able to get me one of the non-LE and I am the 1st on the list so that is telling....I would suggest you call a dealer and get on that list ASAP if you want to have a chance...

^^ I don't think it has but on one of the youtube video that I seen, on the Lexus rep was talking about how the front is basically the 350's DHP and they added the Yamaha dampers in the rear - So it is the same bushing as the IS350 in the front as I am aware, for what it's worth...

$1800 ceramic would be a deal breaker for me, not only the cost they are charging for that but also because I would want to PPF the full front and that needs to be done before ceramic coating is applied.

Got a call from the first salesman (finally!) to say they have one LE model coming in. He says: “I don’t think that’s what you’re looking for right?”
Told him no and confirmed, for the umpteenth time, the color preference. The old dude has emails and paperwork, he should know this stuff!
Lord Jesus help me, because I don’t have the bandwidth.
Positive side, the man called w/o promoting and there’s local moment!
