^^ Yeah, the LE will be a limited run that will be depleted very fast, especially in Canada where there will be very little here. I just hope they'll boost the F Sport Performance production soon though

Still don't understand the naming scheme.. should've just been:
1. Full F (IS F, GS F, RC F)
2. F Performance (IS500 F Performance)
3. F Sport (IS350 F Sport)
4. Regular models

F SPORT PERFORMANCE is wayyyy too redundant.

^^ except if they would have had F (alone) and then F Performance, people would have thought that the F Performance was more powerful than the F.

They added the Performance to the F Sport to say that it's the F Sport models with a more powerful drive train while the F comes with more powerful goodies. It makes sense to me but I know many are also saying its a mouthful

One alternative could have been to go with just IS500 F Sport as the 500 would have given the added performance, but where they want to apply this "performance" brand to other models, they needed to create a new name as I doubt they would stuff this 5.0L V8 in other models

True.. ugh it's still such a mouthful though. Regardless, when referring to my future car, it'll always just be "IS500."

This Vehicle Carrier "Indiana Highway" from Japan (https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels...MMSI-432433000) looks to have departed an auto terminal near BC Canada, it is from Japan and 1 day out to Portland.....

Still not sure I understand why options are installed at the port?!? I must be missing something but I see the port simply as a place to move the vehicles and no techs there to handle the cars. In the days where I bought Acura products, things like the bodykit would be installed at the dealer. I am not disputing the statement, I just having a hard time wrapping my head around it.

I swear I am more excited about watching your IS 500 (see Joe, I did it right!! ) arrive than watching men landing on the moon!

You're probably the only member on the forum that has been alive for both events hahaha

^^ Bring your GF and we'll put this feud behind us (lol)

Any updates on your 350? I am having a call with my dealer again this week - Hoping to hear some positive outcome on my 500. I will say one thing, while I know information is not easy to come by as things aren't evolving rapidly or daily, but I am sure am thankful and appreciative for their patience with me. I am very respectful with them but I recognize I am writing them a bit too often, but hopefully something good will come out

Sounds like a deal. Shuffleboard for pink slips

Nothing yet. I have the vin and the old build sheet that had some unwanted PIO, and I'm stopping by the dealer to get my updated one today. I have the most inept sales person ever. The inventory manager on the other hand is absolutely amazing; I wish my commission could go to her instead. I need to remind my sales guy to not PDI the car until I've seen it, to not remove any of the plastics, and to not even think about washing the car since their microfiber wipes probably have 5000 rocks in them. Weirdly enough, I've been trying to run a quote on my car with Allstate for about a week and they keep saying it's not a valid vin although Lexus and NHTSA pull up the car by that vin. I wonder when it'll update.

Hopefully you get info though!
