Will do! I am beyond ecstatic to get this car. I bought a bunch of cleaning products and ceramic coating from Chemical Guys yesterday to be able to give my baby the love it deserves when it gets here haha. At this point I have a bunch of parts for my car, but no car lol. It's a shame that you haven't gotten good news as well I think what might be hurting you and Answer is that Canada is a much smaller market than the US market so they aren't prioritizing you guys as much. But I'm sure it'll all work out in the end.

It is exciting to get all the cleaning supplies for our new baby!! I always enjoy this in the spring after a harsh winter to detail my daily drivers - The IS would never require that much TLC as it babied throughout the spring/summer/fall. It is now parked for the winter as we had our 1st snowfall and they dropped a bunch of salt and sand on our roads so no more play until the spring for me.

With respect to our market, yeah, there is no question that we are indeed a smaller market, even more so for an IS 500 with RWD in a place where we see snow and people feeling they can only own an AWD, which is a peeve of mine. So I am not blaming Lexus Canada either, they are doing their allocation based on a realistic market. I am just extremely happy they agreed to bring this car to Canada as the IS 350 RWD is not even an option here. I am staying hopeful that us two Canucks (me and answer) will get our cars.

This is perfect. Pretty sure my car is on Andromeda as I was told it'd be in Jacksonville by 12/20, and Phoenix will get to Panama on 12/23. And it can't be Hercules because my car got built on 11/18 and that ship left before then

99% sure its on Andromeda. I just checked all the previous port calls for the boat and it has historically gone from Japan, to Panama, to Jacksonville. Thank you @Yaroze86 for finding my ship lmao

I have one response so far from the Des Moines dealer who has told me they should find out on Thursday, but nothing yet from the KC dealer. Why don't they know by now??? So nerve racking and annoying.

So adding to all the helpful information that @Yaroze86 has provided, you can use this website to check the manifests of these ships. Further proving my prior speculation, Andromeda has a history of delivering Toyota and Lexus vehicles per the manifest.

So I got my updated build sheet for my 350 with exactly everything I wanted on it. While I was at the dealer I asked about the IS500 and they told me they are getting 2 LE’s but they are slapping a $20,000 addendum on it. My jaw dropped. The inventory manager is great and I can’t complain, but wow. I couldn’t believe it. And then she told me they’re getting an RC F Fuji Speedway and that one has a $30,000 addendum.

in other news, she checked and IS’ are starting to show up in Freight, meaning some cars are already off of ships.

WOW!!! A 20k premium on a LE there too!! Am I missing something as to why everyone would pay that much for that?!? It has a regular trunk and not a tickle trunk right?!?!
