It is nice to see people hold out rather than being taken to the cleaners - Good on you for having self discipline - It ain't easy but there will be more later this year or for the 2023 (at least in the US) - I am not sure why but I have this crazy and unfounded fear that they may decide not to bring the 500 in Canada for 2023 so I am feeling a bit anxious to get one.
Congrats - It feels amazing when you have an amazing dealer and people with integrity and not trying to gouge people - I am super happy for you and hope you will get a cool number too. Seeing these allocation numbers, we can see why there are so few non-LE out there so guys like Shoeboy really got lucky 
Yeah, I have been told since mid September that my dealer was going to get at least 1 LE and one non-LE....Obviously we all know that my non-LE was eventually cut and all they have is the LE for now. I find it almost impossible to believe that dealers don't know if they'll get one or not. Maybe not every dealers in the US will get some however, they show say "We were not allocated one however, we are waiting to see if some dealers may decide to offer some if they aren't sold" The other plausible explanation is drawg22 just stated that about 343 are in the system for the US and we know Canada won't get more than 50 total, so that leaves over 100 missing so maybe a new batch of allocated LE will show up soon?!
.... do an allocation search across the US. He said there were 343 LEs and 27 non LEs allocated in the US with none of them in the Central Region. Sounds like the Central region and Canada will get their LE's at the same time. I just didn't want to wait. ...Hopefully a cool number.

That explains why these things are so rare!! Hopefully they'll do a bit more unless they will focus 2022 as the LE model with 2023 and 2024 for the regular versions. I know they'll produce more of the non-LE for 2022 but they may just do a somewhat limited production run. I know Acura did the same with the Type S - They had a certain for each of the colors and then they shut the Type S production and then re-started for 2022 (of course with the issue of the chips, this is not helping)

I doubt it as I figure the guy that won the Lexus driving exp will get that one lol.
5001202 has been the lowest VIN i have seen and Highest one is the one I am thinking of getting 5001691ish. So if the vin Starts at 500101 as number 1 that would put the number at 500601 and mine already surpasses that. If it starts a 5001201ish then mine I am looking at would be one of the final 10 or 15. But more than likely they are not sequential VIN's
But we already know 5001202 is the lowest we have seen and 5001266 I think was the Ultra white one posted up top that we can fairly say they are not sequential as well.

^^ Yeah, I think the theory of the serial number being linked to the 1/500 sequence was debunked a few weeks ago so I don't think there is a correlation but we'll find out soon

haha I was hoping the same for my LC Convertible 1/100 Inspiration Series.....I knew my VIN was going to be somewhere close to #69 as I ytalked to two other buyers with the VIN close to mine and one of them was #68.
I ended up with #71 (which I flipped immediately.)

Yeah, you got me worried. Then I put my vin in clublexus decoder, It does say IS500. Also double checked the spec sheet they sent to me, it has LE MSRP as well. 😂 maybe mine is 500/500
