I don't know any dealership that lets anyone romp on a car during a test drive or test it's abilities in a way that will let you know how it performs when pushed.

Not sure anyone else has been browsing their Lexus dealership websites.... but I just started to notice some of mine have the LE listed on their site under the 2022 IS 250 headline. Very weird... just passing this along in case others have been looking at the dealership websites.

Interesting. I noticed cars.com, autotrader.com, etc don't have an option for 'IS 500' I just searched cars.com for 'all IS' - no dice.

I have news of my own, I was got contacted by my dealer that managed to locate and tag a white on red IS 500 F Sport Performance - delivery estimate is early February!! I am super happy that they managed to find one and while my original hope was to get a white on white, this is still pretty exciting

Yeah I am super happy and relieved but I feel bad - Me and Answer were both looking for a white and developed a good friendship in the process but I am sure he will get one too!!

Good for you! Every dealer I have spoken with including the ones where I’ve placed a down payment have told me they cannot order anything at this time. How was your sales person able to do this?

Well, my custom order (white on white) was rejected - My dealership as been going above and beyond to help me - I have been a recurring buyer from them (5 in 6 years) and he knows how obsessed I am with cars and wanted this one. I am dealing directly with the sales manager rather than a sale's person. He has been working with the regional rep since my initial order was cut and that I have been on the waiting list since February 2020. I think that in Canada, a certain amount of vehicles have been built and being allocated to various dealers. I am not sure if this one was tagged as sold and the person changed their mind and then showed up as available? Not quite sure but sometime, when a miracle happens, you don't ask too many questions but just appreciate that it did

When I read all the dealer horror stories on here, makes me realize how lucky I am to have an amazing dealer. Don't get me wrong, the LE is still having me curious but I have no idea what it would look in person. A white IS, I own one and know I love it!
