^^ That is exactly what happened to me - I was the first on the waiting list. They keep looking until they could find a white one and then asked me if I wanted the red interior or not. I would have accepted a Cloudburst Grey also....
So to be clear, this is not a custom order I made - I feel that there are very few units available and the dealers get allocated some units in various color combos and then it's a matter on whether it matches what you like or not.

I have news of my own, I was got contacted by my dealer that managed to locate and tag a white on red IS 500 F Sport Performance - delivery estimate is early February!! I am super happy that they managed to find one and while my original hope was to get a white on white, this is still pretty exciting

^^ I can't wait to see your pics and see what they did with the trans cooler tough!! I am pretty happy but I had to grab something in the garage and seeing my white interior makes me a bit sad
Maybe there will be a Festivus Miracle and a white interior will appear and Answer can get my red one - A lot can happen in 3 months or so

I was dead against red when I saw the 2021 IS as I felt there was too much red but it starting to grow on me...I still wish Lexus would have applied the red where the white is in my IS. Not sure why they went soooo overboard with it but it is what it is...

I was originally against it but after driving 2 different 350 with the red interior I would have taken ultra-white/red if ultra white/black interior wasn't available at first. That is a pretty large concession from me considering that it is by far my least favorite color outside of yellow

I had two red interior before this current IS, I had a 2017 with the Rioja red, and then the Circuit red in my 2019 RC. I liked both shades of red, I just wish it had a bit less of it but I won't beat a dead horse...

Will be interesting to see the production numbers appear on the forum and whether there is any logic in how these are distributed across NA or totally random. We have only 50 in Canada so it will be interesting to see if we got the early batch, end of batch or somewhere in between

Exactly my point (and the opinion of many) - Maybe I'll buy a can of black spray paint!
The other mod I will do for sure is swap those ML ***** for volume and tuning! I much prefer the non-ML dial - I had swapped them on my 2017 IS and 2019 RC, just don't like them at all - It's just a pull out and push in so very easy swap and just a few dollars for the parts
Ironic how the white on white would have been PERFECT for me, I don't like the black wheels of the LE but love the 2-tone interior, then this one, I love the exterior color and wheels but not as much of a fan of the interior color....It is so frustrating but c'est la vie
