I know it is hard to see perfectly but from the facebook pic (front of the LE), the trans cooler was not visible, maybe it is encouraging? We'll see better pic as these cars finally hit the dealers

Why does everyone hate the trans cooler? It’s a functional part of high performance car…like a badge of honor…ha ha.
I guess if you have any black paint left over from your interior, you could throw that on there…lol!

I doubt it as I figure the guy that won the Lexus driving exp will get that one lol.
5001202 has been the lowest VIN i have seen and Highest one is the one I am thinking of getting 5001691ish. So if the vin Starts at 500101 as number 1 that would put the number at 500601 and mine already surpasses that. If it starts a 5001201ish then mine I am looking at would be one of the final 10 or 15. But more than likely they are not sequential VIN's
But we already know 5001202 is the lowest we have seen and 5001266 I think was the Ultra white one posted up top that we can fairly say they are not sequential as well.

I hear what you are saying but it detracts from the pure black from grill - that grill is so menacing and perfect and for them to make a shiny cooler behind it kills the aggressiveness of it, it's almost like having to put a front plate on the car, which luckily is not required where I live. I agree though, if that thing is shiny, 1st order of business for the dealer is paint that $%^&. I may not have enough spray paint left when I am done with the interior - Just sayin' (lol)

I was thinking the same, how can some dealers be so uninformed as to what they are selling!?! Is it that hard to take the time to get factual information and relay it to the consumers, and the price is laughable!! Obviously if they have no clue about number of units produced, they likely have no concept of what the car sells for. They make decent people in the industry look bad, shame on them!

I have 5001191 on my LE, for whatever that is worth...my last update was Sunday and was pretty much stating the obvious....."Your IS 500 is at the Port of Portland awaiting processing. Once I see a processing update, I will let you know.".....so I don't know if I'm still on track for 12/16-12/20, sooner, or later......

Interesting!!! That is the color combo that Shoeboy also is getting - I know everyone here knows what I wanted (white on white) but was canceled so now getting a white on red because there is very limited availability out there....
