Just got an update from my dealer: apparently my LE is 2nd batch. Arriving NYC port first week of Jan. Probably can pick up end of Jan. Going to stop checking this forum for a month. Jealous for the first batch guys, enjoy

I had no plans to do it, but all the movement here made it impossible not to follow up with one of the sales reps.
1. Said everything he sees is LE oriented and it’ll be that way until the first of the year. No premium orders have been confirmed/accepted yet.
2. My color preference means it’ll be 1 for every 500 to 1000 to be built.
Bless it, by the time I’m able to get mine, everyone else will have 10,000 smiles per miles.

Between 1143 and 1690 is 547 numbers currently. If we assume 1 Premium/Base for every 5 LE's. We could potentially be looking at earliest number is 1101 and highest number as around 1750ish for LE's. If its one Base to 10 LE's that puts us pretty close to around 1690 being one of the last cars.
4 of the 7 known Non-LE's end in 6 as the last digit in the VIN while of the 33 LE's only 2 currently have a 6 ending.
Lets assume: Starting VIN is 1101 and Ending VIN is 1700. That gives us 599 cars. 500 being LE's and 99 being base premium. You can roughly guess your number by subtracting 1 for every 5 cars. 1101-1106 would be the first 5 LE's, 1107 would be a base, 1108-1112 (6-10) would be LE's, 1113 would be a base, 1114-1118 (11-15) would be a LE and so on.

Cheryl Carney with Bob Johnson Lexus in Rochester, NY said they were notified today they will receive an IS 500 LE during the 2nd or 3rd week of January. The port date is January 2. It seems the East Coast is getting allotments now. Hopefully the Midwest will soon. I was told the Midwest port is Portland btw.

^^ that is the timeline inam hearing for the dealers getting their LE out in this part of the world too. It was originally late December but has been revised to early to mid January...
