Delivery of my IS 500 LE has been pushed until the end of December now. I guess there are shipping delays happening with the transportation from Long Beach to Oklahoma.

as of Tuesday mine was still at the Long Beach port and it’s only going 400 miles north so there is a backlog to ship it seems. I feel mine will hopefully get to my dealer next week or the week after.

How did you find this out? All I can get from Central California is that "it is on a boat".

Not directly IS500 related but almost every SoCal dealership website is showing at least one new 2022 IS350 between $46,000-48,000. The L/certified pages are more expensive.

Also how many "Tony's" do we have in this forum? Jeez...

my salesman I have had my VIN since Tuesday before thanksgiving. He updates me every other day at least

I got that from the dealers I was working with and still harassed them every few days until I got an allocation. They're probably relieved I toned it down, haha.

There will be a lot of buyer's remorse in a few months when they realize what they paid for an IS 350 with 2 more cylinders and about an extra 160hp. Dont get me wrong, the IS 500 is a great car and at MSRP is worth it, but an extra 15 to 30k is insane and people need to stop this frenzy...it is almost like the toilet paper at the start of the covid outbreak!
