I'm not sure I'd use these terms to describe the GS F. Even the '16 is pretty floaty compared to the IS F, and the IS F, while being a lighter more agile platform, still isn't a proper sports car like the Supra is or the RC F would like to be. I drive all of these cars routinely (except the RC F), so direct comparison is pretty straight forward.
While I'm really glad Lexus USA asked for and got this car, I'm concerned about how this changes the landscape for any future F cars with ICE. This one (as evidenced by this thread) is hitting a spot with a significant demand and I'd bet the vast majority of owners will love them, but these are the same folks who would have bought a new IS F had one been built. So, if there is any plan for an IS F in the future, there will be fewer buyers for sure. I'm pretty sad about that.

The 2016 GS F feels substantially different (worse) than the 2017+ models.
I'm curious where the IS500 falls.

I didn't drive the car today had to go do the important stuff 'cough cough' grocery shopping for family members that don't drive anymore so I can free up time this week to drive it more. I can answer the exhaust one right now easily its nice and low rumble when taking off or idling but very mellow while at cruising speed be it highway or street driving. The startup is throaty but it falls off quickly. If you want more noise yes an exhaust would most likely be needed. I will rewatch the vids tonight and give you an answer on the second and first one tomorrow after I put some non-highway miles on it more around town and more for fun than just getting it home in one piece

cabin noise is a little louder than the Q50 I had previously. From the trip home and driving around today the noise in the cabin is mostly tire noise from the bad pavement, when it is smooth it is pretty mellow and laid back noise wise
