^^ I have said this before so many times but this car is like an enigma to me - In these pics, I love it! In others, I am cold to it....It is soooo bizarre

the vehicle specs are showing the luggage set on my LE in the app. See attached. Going to pickup car tomorrow.

put the Michelin pilot All Season 4 on my IS250 F sport and at highway speeds they are floaty and not the best handling. Loved the previous Michelin Sport that they don’t have anymore.

what was the favor? Wondering what I might want done before I pickup?

^^ I think he mentioned it earlier where he had the tech disable the seatbelt chime because he hates it when he moves the car in the driveway at low speed and that things beeps ... I think he also asked for a case of A&W's root beer to be left in the trunk (some are soooo needy (lol))

Very excited, can’t wait to get my call….in 2022. 😭😜

Tires wise, the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my IS 350 were a freaking game changer. Now that I’ve gone summer tires, I’ll never go back. I just won’t go anywhere if the weather is super bad.

^^ I have never owned a car long enough to actually change their original set of tires however, if I do keep this IS 500 long enough, I would certainly go the route of summer tires as well as mine would never see a flake of snow or be driven in sub-freezing conditions

They’re amazing, it was an easy decision after March 2020 and my company went remote full time. Before covid my lead-footed commute was 60 miles a day. My all-season tires (tried every brand) were balanced every 6 months and replaced every 15 months. I shudder to think how quickly I’d burn through the summers. 😈

That luggage description is actually a typo and not supposed to be there. Lexus is working on correcting that now.

I run new engines hard right out of the gate, and I've built a few. Run it soft and you get an oil burning pile of crap. Run it hard and you get full power and low oil consumption. Up to you.

I don't agree with revving the crap out of an engine with no load though. That's just stupid.
Driving that hard out of the gate is your choice with your car. I follow what the manufacturer says and have never had an issue. Never had motors that burn oil, never had any run like dogs. My dad built more than a few motors being a mechanic since he w as like 16 and he would build the correct tolerances in the motor so no break-in was required. Factory motors aren't built that precise. Let's not forget the fact that the car doesn't belong to them! It's not their decision to make on what happens with the motor, that's the part that really pisses me off.

See above. I think a "race car style engine" wouldn't actually need a break-in period as it's probably hand built and tolerances in the motor are more precise.

Agreed. The electric part might come before 10 years

Pretty sure AMGs with hand built engines still have a break-in period.

All right, I take responsibility for making a silly comment that turned into a whole discussion about engine break-in, but let's keep it on-topic now, please. Thank you for keeping it civil.

Hard-agree on revving in park though. At least break the car in first.

There is a good amount of typos on the data they are displaying on the App..

Besides not getting any Luggages, you are also not getting any body side graphics or 20” Black Wheels..

You will get that “special” cell phone holder gift

The app also mentioned I have a 4cyl and I started second guessing myself on what car I am getting...
