My understanding is that the app doesnt go live until the car is processed. My ship arrived on 12/19, and it wasn't until early 12/22 that I was able to set up the trials. And then today at 1:00PM they moved it or something because I can see the mileage and fuel. From what I gathered from the manual, the car sends the mileage, fuel, and tire pressure data when the car is turned off. So if you're seeing that, it's definitely on land and someone is moving it around.

The app only goes live once you allow your dealership authorizes the Enform Enrollment at Date of First Use (DOFU). Otherwise the other capabilities are not enabled until you are the owner of the vehicle.

The only thing we can't do is any of the remote control functions as those require a 6 digit code that we get by pressing the SOS button on the vehicle.

That's actually not true since others and myself have the trials activated currently and our vehicles are at the port...

Also the remote start feature is enabled by the dealership at time of contracting or the 6 digit code by hitting the SOS button inside the car, either or.

Officially took delivery today! Words can not describe how excited I am. It’s been a long 9 months, but definitely worth the wait. Much thanks to Lexus of Cool Springs. Both Sales Managers and GSM have been amazing. Considering what I have heard here from some other customers, I feel very appreciative.

Yeah, that's not how it's supposed to work. Because now your trial period is shortened and you haven't even taken delivery of the vehicle yet.

hmmm so we are putting out a Car in Sept of 2022, sign up for the email list and we will contact you or call and get on a list to get one..........ok....April, May, June, July nothing, not even an email from Lexus...so I call in .August, yes we expect vehicles this fall (Sept 22rd is fall)....October Crickets, most of November Crickets...and then Vessel arriving Dec 1st, should be 14 days or so after.......23 days later they put gas in the car........if you are purchasing an IS 500 you have been nothing but patient.......if anything Lexus intentionally didn't say anything about delays to keep buyers on the hook......
As soon as they ran my Amex and sent me a confirmation with a VIN, as far as I'm concerned I own that car, we have engaged in a contract and the only thing that has not taken place is the release of funds..... at this juncture we are talking about weak service and weak information that wasn't disclosed when I agreed to pay 70k dollars...I think we have been patient enough.
