Been a long time lurker of the spreadsheet ever since I discovered it, I'll update my findings from asking several dealerships. I'm now local to MN so I can give more insight on my talks.
Two dealers here are Lexus of Maplewood and Lexus of Wayzata, both in the greater Minneapolis area. Each, so far, received an allocation of one Launch Edition this week.
Lexus of Maplewood has 7 interested buyers in line. The salesperson and GM are being malicious, and are marking up the price essentially by $8500 because "everyone else is doing it". They are including a full PPF protection, tint for windows, interior protection, and a 5 year key replacement warranty (who the hell needs that?). Non negotiable price markup. I'm considering taking myself off that list.
Lexus of Wayzata (same owner as Maplewood BTW) has 4 interested buyers. Salesperson I talked to stated a $2500 markup for previous clients of the dealership, $5000 markup for MN residents, and $10000 markup for out of state residents (which is bull**** too). However this salesperson seemed more understandable and may come down/remove the markup (hoping this is the case).
Sewell Lexus of Dallas I contacted out of random interest, stating they got 2-3 allocations for Launch Editions, but have a waitlist of 20 people. Salesperson stated they are getting no more allocations for LE's.
Hope this helps other prospective buyers. The dealership in Wayzata seems the most reasonable out of the 3, but will update if things change.

I mean, I hope I'm wrong so you can get your car lol. But that was just my experience with hot taging. And it's not like I asked her to do that and she told me couldn't. I didn't even know that existed. But she told me when I ordered it that she would hot tag it. And once it showed up in her system she told me she had tried but was unable to.

@EhArgh Those Michelins really show how narrow the stock Bridgestones look making them look slightly stretched. As I have said before I cannot wait to put PS4S on this car
Hey! These actually are Michelin Alpin PA4's, the stock Bridgestones got taken off the next day, since I need winter tires here (especially with RWD, I was spoiled by the AWD in my Model 3 Long Range & Subaru WRX before this).
However you are correct, Michelin's are the same size & spec as the Bridgestones.

hmmm so we are putting out a Car in Sept of 2022, sign up for the email list and we will contact you or call and get on a list to get one..........ok....April, May, June, July nothing, not even an email from Lexus...so I call in .August, yes we expect vehicles this fall (Sept 22rd is fall)....October Crickets, most of November Crickets...and then Vessel arriving Dec 1st, should be 14 days or so after.......23 days later they put gas in the car........if you are purchasing an IS 500 you have been nothing but patient.......if anything Lexus intentionally didn't say anything about delays to keep buyers on the hook......
As soon as they ran my Amex and sent me a confirmation with a VIN, as far as I'm concerned I own that car, we have engaged in a contract and the only thing that has not taken place is the release of funds..... at this juncture we are talking about weak service and weak information that wasn't disclosed when I agreed to pay 70k dollars...I think we have been patient enough.

@flighthalo How are you handling the road test aspect; going along, watching, or waiving it? I just don't want some random tech railing on the new engine off the bat.
