It's nice and all and has definitely been on my radar, but once you start building it they seem to charge for everything!

What do you all think about the Cadillac CT4V Blackwing?
I was looking at the CT4 and CT5 Blackwing cars. They're beautiful cars and the digital gauge cluster is amazing. I ultimately decided I didn't want something more track focused, I am alright with sacrificing a little speed to get a comfortable, reliable, daily driver with more power than the V6 offerings. Plus, with the CT5 at least, the price surpasses the C8 while the C8 will smoke it from a stop light.
The CT5 Blackwing still calls out to me... lol 668hp is hard to resist. But, I'd rather have something more comfortable with Lexus reliability. My GM cars have been fun, but I always had minor complaints. The only thing I've ever complained about with Lexus is the power and this car fixes that.

Not a NA v8, and that engine is the only reason some of us are here. There are lots of boosted V6 vehicles that perform as well and better for about the same money (less in some cases). CT4V BW will outperform the IS500 if you are strictly looking for performance.

Both the CT4 and CT5 V Blackwings are really cool products but a bit too radical for me

I agree and will not have the resale value that an IS 500 would have IMO

Totally why I am so in love with the 500!! A Naturally aspirated V8 - Like you said, if you want a turbo V6, there are plenty of options out there for sure

They learned from IS F so highly unlikely that will happen. IS 500 F SPORT Performance will sell out eventually once dealers knock off the market adjustment.
