drawg - You are welcome (lol) - I know what you mean, if you live in Iowa, it is hard to get away with winter tires on a RWD car unless of course you have another daily driver and can afford to not drive the 500 on the snowy days. I find here, within a couple hours after the snow is over, the roads are bare because of the salt they put down on the roads

wthrman2 - they do a good job here too, but use sand instead. I'm looking for them when I just can't get away from having to drive in the snow and because I want a summer tire and winter tire for the performance aspect.

^^ That is BY FAR the best way to proceed. I was making a suggestion in case you didn't want to bite the bullet right out of the gate. To be honest, I always put winter tires on my vehicles (minus the Lexus as it only drive in the summer) hence why I wanted a RWD this time, a real toy for our Canadian summers

tick tock.....heading to the dealership in 6 hours....even though we have all seen the car 42,000 times I will post pics and the edition number as soon as I get home tonight......wow, I got goosebumps....

Congrats!! Can't wait to get your overall impressions and seeing more pics - There is no such thing as too many pics of the IS 500, regardless of the color or trim!! Goosebumps eh?!?! I haven't upload my personal pic (lol)
