Picked up 298 today! Love how comfortable it is and the stereo is insanely good.

I am sorry to say that I am with DLPTony on this one I hear what you are saying that in an ideal world, maybe some interior improvements could have been brought to the 2021+ IS however, change for the sake of change is not always a good thing. I know everyone is drooling over the interior and infotaiment of the new RX but it will be interesting to see how people in northern climate will feel in the winter. Look at how much car reviewers dislike the new VW Golf GTI/R interior. I for one, I am super happy they didn't do any crazy change to the interior. I have had that interior since the 2015 MY and I still love it to this day, very functional and they improved what they needed to improved the most, bringing a touch screen as an additional way to use the information on the screen. Pano roof are also another thing that while nice, I am not sure what is the purpose other than for the back seat passengers. I am just disappointed that Lexus Canada optioned this car without it in our market - Maybe I will be fine once I see it, I just am worried it will look off without the darker roof to break up the white - It is purely cosmetic for me as I don't really use/need the function of the roof.

Exactly - My exact same thought but I also respect everyone's preference or wishes but on that one, I am with you.

Another good point...

I know of a few waiting for their USB IS 500 (DLP Tony) and I know another Canadian got a beautifully spec'd one with a white interior (Too Deep)!

Your day is coming buddy, it has been a bit slow for dealers to get any info with the holiday period, things should start picking up as far as information flowing again. I know you are open to a few color options, is the LE still one you would consider? Have you been able to see any of the one from your dealer so far?

Yeah, Mark Levinson in my '09 LS 460 is still top notch; feels the same in the IS 500.

The Bowers & Wilkins in my wife's '22 V90 Cross Country is pretty damn good as well.

Just curious...I get the PPF and ceramic coating, but why would a cherry car need paint correction?

Although the car is new, the paint is not perfect. It has some very fine imperfections. I have yet to buy a new vehicle where the paint is perfect.

I never thought to check so close on a new vehicle. I will need to check more closely next time!

lol, I’m probably just being too picky but once I see an imperfection, I have to get it fixed.

I feel our turn will be really soon! Just refinanced our home in Midtown and the investment condo. (Had to take advantage of the interest rates!)

Now that I’ve done the responsible thing, give me my car Lexus. 😜
