Gotcha… Too many “Flow Lexus” dealerships in NC

Has anyone seen a regular IS 500 F SPORT Performance in Starfire with White or Cloudburst with White out there yet? Post photos if you do!

That's all? I was hoping you would at least tell us the extent of their injuries, which hospital they are staying at, and their insurance numbers.

The IS500 rims look really good with this color. Such a classic look as opposed to the gloss black, chrome, or matte things we see so often.

I gotta disagree man. Also, doesn't gloss black = graphite?

I've never been a fan of matte finished wheels. They look gross when they're caked on with brake dust. Gloss black is gloss black. Graphite is gray. I'm good with graphite gray also.

I have that caviar coming in the next week or so with some gloss gunmetal forgestars a few weeks behind. I’m eager to see how they pair up myself 👍

Gotcha. All of those are trending now. Personally I don't think that gloss black wheels look good. The reason is psychological; by and large, black shiny tires are considered attractive. How do I know this? Look at car ads or human behavior. People dress their tires with all sorts of chemicals to make them look glossy and black. When you have a wheel that's glossier and blacker than the tire, it makes your tires look duller and more worn.

This is why I think graphite/gray is a better compromise when it comes to selecting aftermarket wheels.

But there's also nothing like a well-designed thin spoke silver wheel which Enkei makes for the IS500. It's so retro it's cool.

I bet the Caviar looks amazing in person. This is the first one I’ve seen and the Enkeis do not seem to pop as much as I had expected.

I've always had dark graphite wheels with my white cars. When we did a poll for the wheels on IS F back in 2007, we had a choice of the polished/graphite and the all dark graphite BBS 19" Wheel. I actually picked the polished/graphite wheel because I loved the contrast and the samurai sword story. Here's my 2009 from back in the day:

My current 2020 RC F with the 2022 IS 500 F SPORT Performance 000 of 500 Prototype to keep it relevant.

I’ve seen the white is350’s around town, but when I saw a caviar 350, it totally turned my head. Kind of star struck. I have white cars in the family fleet and they mask dirt/dust well. I figured this caviar will be the garage queen for the most part so I can make do haha!

Goodness. I clearly haven’t seen a recent RC F lately. Is it the camera effect or an actual crease on the front quarter-panel? That and the front lip, very hot. 🔥

I have to be honest that I respectfully disagree but I think everyone knows my views on black wheels, reminds me too much of the steel wheels we see here from Nov-Apr

You and I share the same view point on the wheel front

Yeah, initially I had wished it was a wee bit darker but the more I see them the more I like and embrace the pattern (even though it will be a pain to clean). To me, seeing youtube videos of the car in motion at relatively low speed and seeing the pattern in motion is what I like too. With the dark wheels, the pattern gets lost the moment the car is in motion. Again, we are all different and I realize I am old school (or plain old) but that is just what I prefer.

Your IS F was really nice, but that RC F made me reach for a paper towel to mop the drool!!! Holly crap that is a nice car! Maybe because it's white without black wheels (lol)

Yeah, you are not dreaming, there is a side vent on the RC F and that car is almost as sexy as me!
