giS - glad you and wife are safe and I hope you two recover soon. As much as the loss of the car sucks, material things can be replaced but your lives can't. You'll find another soon especially with the people in this forum backing you. Hopefully the insurance can pay the full loan and maybe more to help out
I don't get how people can get away driving uninsured and why they think it's ok. I sold my corolla hatchback early for this car but kept the tag and when the state found out there was no insurance on the tag, I got close to getting my license suspended, thankfully I didn't.

Glad you're OK, sorry about your pain - both physical, mental and the loss of your car. Wont your insurance replace the car with one just like your totaled IS500? They should be able to work with a dealer or Lexus and have more bargaining power than you. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I’ve seen 2 USBs now, so they are making it to dealers. Find myself wondering if the salesman should grab any USB, red interior or not.

Welcome to the forum, I think you will enjoy this crowd, we are pretty laid back, support/respect each other and poke fun at each other from time to time - Just be warned though, some like to tease us with cute legs....
As far the car, absolutely STUNNING!! I love the USB but most especially the white interior!! I have a white 2021 IS 350 F Sport with the white interior and I am in love with it!! I tried ordering a white 500 with white interior but they cut my order and give me "Answer"'s car instead - white with a red interior. I am still trying to get my dealer to find me a car with a white interior so I can let my white on red go to him but no luck so far. I agree, the white interior has a touch of class and elegance while not being overly flashy and such....The other thing I like about the white interior is that it is the only color with two tone seats (not all black or all red) and I like that!!

DLPTony - What we are seeing with the non-LE in both the US and Canada is basically a bunch of cars that Lexus built (not special orders) and they are peppered across the regions at various dealers in a somewhat random fashion. If your dealer is not getting a USB, they would need to work with their district manager to see if they can find a way to have one allocate to you by redirecting from one region to yours...likely would involve your dealer letting go one of their assigned vehicle in exchange for yours. It's like a barter system, at least that is what happened to me. It is just a matter of time before they open up the custom order allotment but will this be for the 2022 MY or only for the late summer as a 2023 MY. In the end, you can decide if you want to compromise on the interior color so you can get yours, if you can wait to exactly what you want, it may be optimal but waiting has never been my strongest quality (lol) - I will assess how I feel about the white on red when it arrives in a month or so, if I am not in love with it, I'll let it go for another forum member here who I know really wants/likes this combo. That being said, while I know you love red, I would be pretty sure that you would love white inside as well....Not sure if you saw one in person but pics don't do it justice, you need to sit in the car to appreciate the effect it has on the cabin perception....
^^ I hear what you are saying but correct me if I am wrong, but the IS F in 2008 was a brand new model unlike the IS 500 which is basically starting from the 2021 IS 350 F Sport DHP and adding the yamaha dampers in the rear, adding a well established engine and transmission with Enkei wheels, a slight revised hood and quad tips. What do you feel would be seriously problematic with this car? To me, this should be a somewhat safe model to jump in....I mean even the new LC has some growing pain but again, that was a brand new model
I agree....all good points! I don't feel there will be major updates to this car, just technology wise, like HUD, ect.

I agree with wanting to love the car inside and out. Who knows, maybe the car will speak to you once you’ve sat in it.
I do love the blue and white combo, the 2019 or 2020 LC 500 Inspiration series with the Structural Blue and white interior made my heart jump. So it might be a second choice if faced with it, I do not want a black interior though.
