I found another Atomic Silver/Black for sticker. Would someone mind posting a photo(s) of an IS 500 in atomic silver quickly?
Sorry I don't have pictures, but Atomic silver is just one you have to see in person. Still pictures do it about 10% justice. That color has multiple personalities, some of it hue shifting.
I'd recommend going to the dealer and seeing it in the flesh, on the various other models they have in stock. It's so nice...classy.
Ngl, the lighting is probably contributing to this, but of all the specs I've seen posted on the IS500 with Enkei's, I think this is by far the most gorgeous. If you have the BBS, thats a different story; Caviar all the way!
I've never seen the Lexus system first hand, but I've seen the ordering system for Mazda, Ford/Lincoln, and Chevrolet. He was only looking 3 months ahead because that's probably as far ahead as he could see. The system only lets you see what's been accepted so far. Sometimes, depending on the brand, you can only see what's been accepted for your store or group of sister stores... If they're connected like that within the system.
And yes, I agree that you did the right thing by passing up on Atomic Silver. Besides the dealer add-ons, it doesn't make sense spending that kind of money if you're not in love with the car/color.

Keep in mind the dealer wanted 6200$ over msrp so I can understand, I would have walked too...
Congrats if you get that. I inquired about that last Friday and was told it was pre-sold, awesome if you are 2nd in line and get it. Let us know how is the mark up if any.
