From lexus.com it is supposed to come with the F Sport Handling package on the IS 300 / IS 350, but it's not clear if it's supposed to come with the IS 500 which does have the handling package obviously. It's also not showing up on the window sticker or in the features section on lexus's website for the IS 500.

If anyone has any Lexus documentation that says it's supposed to be included I'd really appreciate it.
That's a good question, I'd like to know the answer too. On a related note, I'm looking at pre-PDI photos of a car a dealer sent me and it has no center caps on the wheels. Would they seriously not add the "L" center caps?

Can’t imagine it wouldn’t have the center caps. Might be something that ships inside the car and is installed during PDI? Mine (non-LE) was sitting in dealer showroom this afternoon and had them on it.

Not sure if anyone can obtain the device used to reprogram the Lexus card key like the one used in the video.

A little of topic, but is extended warranty worth it on this car? My dealership offered me 84 months / 75k miles. The engine is my biggest concern but thats already covered to 70k. The other stuff is covered to 50k i believe. So presumably this warranty only really covers 25k more miles of electronics, trim, upholstery etc from what i understand. I was quoted about $3k. Seems steep for about 3 extra years of driving (25k miles) for just the non-powertrain stuff. Am i missing something here?

amen, No dealership owner is really hurting and its just a tarnish on any brands image. I refuse to pay a markup just on principle alone. They are still getting the cars at the same rates and most if their money us made through service anyway.

Looks like the same place will be getting the spec you've been looking for. I just stumbled upon this post of them using an IS350 to promote an incoming IS500.

That is exactly why, the center caps will be installed during the PDI and such, no cars would be sold without them

The engine on this car is one of the most reliable one out there - Sure there are lots of electronics in cars and such but I would not put the 3k on something you may or may not need. Put the 3K under your pillow where it is safe (don't tell your wife) and if something ever goes wrong after the warranty is over, you have at least 3K toward whatever repairs will be required. That is my 2 cents...

It would be hilarious that you would call them and make an offer on it, I mean you have already have a good rapport with them (lol) - It is ironic that they would use a clown face in their promo.

Warranty - I 100% agree! Sock it away somewhere to collect interest until it’s needed.

Crazy Dude - LOL!! Yeah if I stepped foot into that place, I’ll never be heard from again. 😂

Question, what brand of premium gas do you guys recommend for at least the first few tanks? Like, can I take it to Costco or any mom and pop station, or does it need something fancier like Shell or Chevron.
