Just put a deposit down at Lexus of Austin of an IS500. MSRP deal. I'm number 5 in line. Dealer told me that they are not being allowed to make special orders, so they asked me for a few preferred color combos.

Has anyone identified part numbers for air (engine & cabin) filters and oil filters?

^^ Wouldn't the oil filter be the same as the RC F? I know I am going to regret posting because I am kind of clueless with this stuff but it is the same engine isn't it?

Logically I'd say the air filter would also be the same.

Cabin filter would be the same as any other 2021+ IS model. I found 87139-30100 on LexusPartsNow for a 2021 IS 350 for example.

I can definitely see mixed driving being pretty bad, but on my 430 miles highway drive back today I averaged just under 30 mpg … and that was with regularly downshifting gears to keep the engine from staying in a narrow RPM range.

EDIT - after filling up, my final calculated MPG came in at 28.2. Pretty surprising for a big 472 HP V8.

^^^^Hey Joe

Don't want to start that old argument again

BTW, my LC takes the same filter. But, a few years ago I switched to Wix filters.

I also added a magnetic drain plug.
