What was the ultimate cause of your CEL error? Did they share why then can't fix it now? Also, will these 'multiple issues' be unveiled as TSBs?
They still don’t know the ultimate cause. They did shift from definitively blaming it on a defective oxygen sensor, and now the plan appears to be throwing the kitchen sink at it and replacing 3 or 4 other parts while they’re in there just in case. I do like that they’re being proactive rather than just replacing a single part and crossing their fingers.
No idea on the TSBs, would imagine they’re in the pipeline and would guess some are already out there (eg the loose exhaust gasket issue/fix).
Luckily my co-drivers agree that today isn’t shaping up to be the best day to enjoy the IS 500 anyway !!!

An IS with the V8 is still new stuff, so I can imagine there's gonna be 2-3 assembly quicks at first. The fact that corporate already notified dealers is a proof they are taking this seriously IMHO.
I kinda see this as positive news. For now, it looks mostly related to exhaust assembly issues.

AWE! This is a great pic.

Me too. It sucks some are taking one or three for the team, but the experience will benefit the community.
I traded in my 2021 IS 350 after 5 months. I loved the way the 350 drove, only wishing it had more power.
On Dec 31, I took delivery of a 2022 USB IS 500 Premium.
Where did you order yours? I'm in NJ as well and im waiting until the spring/summer to order mines. Looking to get USB w/Black interior. Are you paying markup?
I didn't technically order yet, NJ dealers have been very inconsistent to say the least on the ordering process. Nobody local would take deposits, but yet, when Launch Editions are coming in, salespeople are saying they are already presold. I am currently working with my 3 local dealers (Cherry Hill, Haldeman, and Willow Grove) on whoever gets an allocation in, they will reach out. Willow Grove has a hard "no mark-up" policy, Cherry Hill is the most active (they know I won't go over MSRP, but reach out every couple days juuuust in case I crack), and Haldeman is still determining if they markup the non-Launch.
I can tell you to avoid Ray Catena, Route 10, and Bridgewater, as they marked up like crazy and weren't the best to interact with. I'll update on here if I hear more (or you can PM me and I can update there instead of spamming this thread with my nonsense).

LOVE IT! Same spec I want. I also see that Dodge flag back there. Glad I'm not the only Mopar crossover here. Looks great, enjoy the hell out of it.

I LOVE THE MAGNUM EVEN MORE! Please tell me you still have it? I would love to have one of those, shame they are basically unicorns now.
haha……I wish. The plan was to keep it. The car was built from the ground up. I had it since new (2005)
I had to sell it because CA made it impossible for me to get through emissions testing.
My final view as it goes to Texas. It’s now in Wisconsin.

Congrats!! Waiting on my call to rescue Superman (USB w/red) from the clutches of Luthor Corp (dealership). 💙❤️
