Since you keep mentioning this, I would venture to say it’s because the press cars are prototypes, which are hand-built, or at least hand-finished, and every minute detail is checked and combed over. I actually think it’s good that some of these first mass-produced cars are having early-adopter issues, it goes to show that the 500 isn’t just some rehash of an old model, but actually has a lot of new parts and tech that need to be tweaked to achieve reliability and refinement.

^^ LMAO - I agree, he'll have to change his handle to OLDYTONY - I can just imagine him getting home and telling his GF, not tonight, I have a headache!! (LOL)
On the stereo discussion, even my Non-ML system, the sound is very front biased so I have dialed the fade a bit more toward the rear to give it a more balanced sound and find it sounds better that way...

Hello,
I'm new to the forum and happy to be here! I have had a deposit on my LE for about a month now. I'm in western MA. Dealer says it's been at the port since Jan 2! Fortunately, I've been promised MSRP! I wasn't planning on purchasing if they were going to mark it up. I'm coming from a 2020 IS 350 F sport which I LOVE...but when I saw the LE I just couldn't resist.

Also, there's an Atomic Silver with Red interior for sale at Ray Catena of Freehold, and they're asking $10k over MSRP for it. I can complain all I want about their markups, but someone bought their LE with a $30K markup, so I have no doubt this will sell.

The markup with the colors is not a good combo though.
This morning, I was just thinking about how y'all are making me tempted to go look at the Infrared IS 500 at Hennessy Lexus Gwinnett, but it looks like it's no longer listed in their inventory anymore.

Lexus of Greenwich, CT just got an Iridium/Black today - when asked about markup was told "a real offer gives me the power to fight for you" or something to that effect
I really want this one but shipping is $1100 and I can't pay anything over MSRP, or it doesn't make sense for me.

I think they removed the Illuminated Trunk sills on my car..... Sad. Who has the options list still?
